DMCA (Copyright) Policy

Farmers Sentinel respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from its users, partners, and content providers. In line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we follow the copyright infringement policy below.

We reserve the right to: (1) restrict access to or remove content that we, in good faith, believe is copyrighted material copied and distributed without authorization by any advertiser, affiliate, content provider, member, or user of ours; and (2) terminate service access for repeat infringers.

Your use of Farmers Sentinel's services is at all times subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Copyright Dispute Policy. Any terms not defined here carry the meaning given to them in the Privacy Policy.

1. How to Report Copyright Infringement

If you believe content appearing on or accessible through Farmers Sentinel infringes your copyright (or the copyright of someone you're authorized to represent), please send a notice of infringement to our Designated Agent containing:

  1. The physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
  2. A clear description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material, with enough detail (e.g., a link or product page) for Farmers Sentinel to locate and verify it;
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  5. Your contact information: address, phone number, and email (if available);
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate and that you're authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. After We Receive a Valid Infringement Notice

Once we receive a valid notice, Farmers Sentinel reserves the right to:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material;
  • Notify the content provider accused of infringement that their material has been removed or disabled;
  • Terminate the content provider's access to our services if they are a repeat infringer.

3. Counter-Notice Procedure

If a content provider believes material was removed in error, or that they hold the legal right to use it, they may submit a counter-notice to the Designated Agent containing:

  1. Their physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material removed or disabled, and its location before removal;
  3. A good-faith statement that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification;
  4. Their name, address, phone number, and email, along with a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court where their address is located (or, if outside the U.S., any federal district where Farmers Sentinel is based), and consent to accept service of process from the original notifying party.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, Farmers Sentinel may forward a copy to the original complaining party and notify them the material may be restored in 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files a court action seeking an order against the content provider, the removed material may be restored within 10–14 business days or longer, at Farmers Sentinel's discretion.
